The Pokiest Of Poker

I love poker. Longtime readers of my blog, as well as people who I currently owe money to, already know this.

My problem is, I’m not very good at it. I can’t remember sometimes if a straight beats a flush, or if a guy with a tire iron is entitled to clean out the pot without turning his cards over, or little things like that.

There’s actually a site called 666Poker.com where you can not only learn how to play and get advice, but also learn the ugly truth about the game…some people really enjoy being evil at the table.

Evil? Yep. And that’s one of the problems, if you aren’t ready for the evil ones, they’ll throw your game off completely. You expect bad guys in novels, movies, and politics. You have to expect them sitting across the table from you, too, because the only thing they love more than taking your money is driving you crazy while doing so.

They also can teach you about thinking quickly at the table, which is a big help. Trust me, sitting there trying to remember which one is the spade and which one if the club isn’t going to win you any friends when it’s time to cash in.

As a bonus, if you use the code ‘devils500’ they’ll give you a $500 bonus when you sign up.
